The publication aims at the projection of the substantial contribution of the Salonica Theatre of Operations to the outcome of the First World War, as Thessaloniki was the starting point of the victorious counter attack, in September 1918, that led to the gradual capitulation of Bulgaria, the Ottoman Empire, Austria-Hungary and finally, Germany.
