Inauguration of the exhibition for Eleftherios Venizelos at the Athens International Airport.

On March 19th, the inauguration of the exhibition dedicated to Eleftherios Venizelos was held in the New Airport of Athens.
The exhibition, organised by the Foundation in collaboration with the Airport’s Administration, comprised rare and original photographic and artistic material. The material was offered by the Foundation Archive and institutions such as the Greek Parliament, the Academy of Athens, the Cultural organisation of the Municipality of Athens, the Municipal Library of Hania, the Greek Literary and Historical Archive, the Benaki Museum, the Liberal Club, as well as individuals.
The objective of the exhibition was to honour the great Greek politician, who gave his name to the new airport, and to point out his contribution to the progress of Civil Aviation.
The exhibition was open from March 15th - 30th.
