Event “Atsipopoulo in the Revolution of Theriso”.

On the occasion of the anniversary of the battle of Atsipopoulo, an event was held in Atsipopoulo, Rethymno, organised by the Cultural Association of Atsipopoulo, under the auspices of the Foundation.
The speakers were K.A. Fradelos, postgraduate student at the University of Crete, Georgios Perpirakis, honorary school advisor and Nikolaos Papadogiannakis, professor at the University of Crete.
The event closed with Cretan songs by the choir of Atsipopoulo and sound documentaries about Eleftherios Venizelos. The Cultural Association of Atsipopoulo was acclaimed Foundation associate.
A photograph exhibition for Eleftherios Venizelos was also held.
The event was realised on the occasion of 100 years of the revolution of Theriso.
