Cretan Members of the European Parliament speak about Eleftherios Venizelos.

On Thursday, August 24^th, the annual event organised by the Foundation and the Municipality of Eleftherios Venizelos was held in Mournies, Chania [Garden of the church of Zoodohos Pigi. 
The topic of the event, organised on the occasion of the 70 years of the death of Eleftherios Venizelos, was "The European ideal in the policy of Eleftherios Venizelos" and the speakers were the Cretan Members of the European Parliament: Konstantinos Hatzidakis, Stavros Arnaoutakis and Georgios Hatzimarkakis (Member of the European Parliament in Germany).
The former member of the Board of Directors of the Foundation and former Governor of the bank of Hania, Panagiotis Kostakis was acclaimed associate of the Foundation for his contribution to the Foundation.
