Civil Memorial Service of Eleftherios & Sophocles Venizelos.

On April 1st, the Foundation and the Municipality of Hania organised the annual civil memorial service of Eleftherios & Sophocles Venizelos at Venizelos' Tombs (church of Prophitis Ilias in Hania).
The main speaker of the event was the Manager of the National Bank of Greece, Theodoros Karatzas, on the topic "Memory of Eleftherios Venizelos".
Furthermore, a photograph exhibition was organised at the Multisectoral Lyceum with rare and unknown photos from the death and funeral of Eleftherios Venizelos that were presented for the first time. The material of the exhibition came from the Archive of the Foundation, the Library of the Parliament, the Benaki Museum, the Greek Literary and Historical Archive, the Museum "Eleftherios Venizelos" of the City of Athens and the collection of Sifis Smirlakis.
