Screenings of the documentary about Venizelos in New York and France

The documentary “Venizelos, Struggle for Asia Minor”, a co-production of the National Research Foundation “Eleftherios K. Venizelos”, ERT, and Long Run Productions, was screened at the Director’s Guild of America (DGA) theater during the New York Greek Film Festival, held in early September 2024. The festival’s president was the actress Maria Tzompanaki, originally from Chania, and its main section was dedicated to Crete. The screening was supported by the U.S. Branch of the National Research Foundation “Eleftherios K. Venizelos.”

The documentary was also selected to participate in the GrecDoc Festival, which will take place next January in France. The film will be screened with French subtitles in Paris, Nice, Marseille, Lyon, and other French cities.

GrecDoc is a film festival organized by the association Ecrans des Mondes, presenting films primarily created by independent Greek filmmakers.
