The National Research Foundation “Eleftherios K. Venizelos”, aiming to highlight the personality, work, and era of Eleftherios Venizelos, has announced the Panhellenic Student Essay Competition with the theme: “The significance of the revolutionary movement of Theriso in establishing Eleftherios Venizelos as a national leader.”
The competition aims at third-grade students of General High Schools (public and private) across the country and Greek schools abroad.
Students are invited to discuss the diplomatic networking of the revolutionaries and the representation of the Theriso Revolution in the Athenian press, showing how it established Venizelos in Greece as a prominent politician and diplomat, capable of defending the nation’s future.
