This publication is not a biography. It is a brief portrait of the personality, the work and the era of Eleftherios Venizelos. There has been no similar attempt in the past, addressing Greek and foreign readers with a wide range of interests. A scientifically complete publication composing briefly in a simple language an image of the work and personality of the greatest politician of modern Greece was therefore necessary.
