The National Research Foundation “Eleftherios Κ. Venizelos” is dedicated to the memory of Eleftherios Venizelos and to the new generations, since its goal is to bring them closer to the visions, the ideals, the achievements and the historical legacy of Eleftherios Venizelos. Nowadays, people are looking for role models and ideals, and the Foundation believes that since the politician realized the reformatory vision of the Greek Nation by planning and achieving a true national revival, he constitutes an unrivalled role model up to now.
Within this context, the Regional Branch of Macedonia was founded in March 2009, having its headquarters in Axioupoli.
