The exhibition is organized by the Benaki Museum, the National Research Foundation “Eleftherios K. Venizelos” and the Municipality of Thessaloniki and supported by the J. F. Costopoulos Foundation and the Department of Attica of the National Research Foundation “Eleftherios K. Venizelos”. The presentation of the war of 1912-1913 focuses on patriotic effort through rare photographic material, archives and historical documents. Through unpublished material relating to the volunteers who died during the war, the  exhibition focuses on the concept of military offer and sacrifice. Finally, a special section of the exhibition presents the city of Salonica during the Balkan Wars.
