31 May Digital material from the Foundation in schools nationwide
By decision of the Minister of Education, Religious Affairs, and Sports, Kyriakos Pierrakakis, digital material from the National Foundation “Eleftherios Venizelos” will be available in schools nationwide starting the new academic year. Mr. Pierrakakis announced this following his visit to the Foundation.
In a Facebook post, the Minister called the Foundation a “reference point for our political history” and stated that, with the help of the Institute of Educational Policy, digital material such as documentaries will soon be accessible via interactive whiteboards in schools, enhancing the understanding of Eleftherios Venizelos and his era.
In the preceding meeting, the Minister was briefed on the Foundation’s activities and plans, and had the opportunity to use the virtual reality (VR) application on the assassination attempts against Venizelos, which has been installed at the Residence – Museum in Chalepa.
