31 May 8th Panhellenic Student Essay Competition (school year: 2009-2010): Evaluation results.
In order to project the personality, work and era of Eleftherios Venizelos, the National Research Foundation “Eleftherios K. Venizelos” proclaims the 8th Panhellenic Student Essay Competition having the subject: “What is the mark of Eleftherios Venizelos’ appearance on Greek political scene, in 1910”.
The competition addressed to the 3rd grade school students from all the country, who are invited to highlight and to quantify the changes made by the emergence of Eleftherios Venizelos on Greek political scene (for example in the fields of institutions, education, public administration, the armed forces, social policy e.t.c.).
According to the Evaluation Committee, the results are:
1st prize: Valsamos Tsimplis, High School of Neoi Epivates, Thessaloniki. Essay.
2nd winner: Stavroula Spala, 1st High School of Kalamata. Essay.
3rd winner: Aspasia Pahiou, “Athena” hellenic educational Society. Essay.
Award sponsors: Mihailakis Emm. Emmanouil and Mihailaki Emm. Damaskini, grand sponsors, associates and benefactors of the Foundation.
The winners will be awarded in a special event, in Chania (Irineos Galanakis Mansion – Administrative & Scientific Services Building of the Foundation), on March 20th, 2010.
