Nikolaos Papadakis, Director General of the National Research Foundation “Eleftherios K. Venizelos”, will be honored by the Federation of Apokoronou Associations, in collaboration with the Pancretan Association and the Society of Greek Writers, in Athens on Sunday, February 4, 2024. The event will be hosted at 11 am at the Society of Greek Writers, located at Gennadiou 8, 7th floor. The ceremony will be followed by the cutting of the Federation’s king pie (vasilopita), blessed by his Eminence the Metropolitan of Kydonia and Apokoronou, Damaskinos. The event will be coordinated by the cretan journalist Dimitris Kambourakis.
