Brief project description: The project consists of the documentation of the archival collections of: i. Klearchos Markantonakis, ii. Tassos Keramianidis, iii. Sophocles Venizelos and iv. Eleftherios Venizelos – Documents left by Marika Venizelou at the Historical Archives of Benaki Museum. In terms of their content, the collections include various categories and types of documents, mainly letters, petitions, reports, newspapers, catalogues, tables and maps of the period 1886-1964. Also, the documentation of part of the museum collection of the National Research Foundation “Eleftherios K. Venizelos” and the personal items of Eleftherios Venizelos, which are located at Venizelos’ Residence-Museum in Chalepa, Chania, was carried out.
