18 May Paying tribute to the Battle of Skra

The annual commemorative celebrations for the 105th anniversary of the Battle of Skra were held on Sunday, May 14, at the historic Skra. The event was jointly organized by the Municipality of Paionia, the National Research Foundation “Eleftherios K. Venizelos”, and the Community of Skra.
The Government was represented by the Minister of Rural Development and Food, Georgios Georgantas. Also in attendance were Konstantinos Sionidis, the Mayor of Paionia, Antonis Dermatas and Konstantinos Chaidoutis, representatives of the Macedonian Branch of the Foundation, as well as representatives from various organizations and a large number of attendees.
