14 Aug Screening of the documentary about Venizelos in Anogeia
On Friday, August 11, 2023, a screening of the documentary “Venizelos, Struggle for Asia Minor” took place in Anogeia. The event was held in a square filled with people, where the house of the late Nikos Xylouris is located, along with the well-crafted bust of Eleftherios Venizelos by the famous folk artist “Grillios”.
Greetings were addressed by the Mayor of Anogeia, Socrates Kefalogiannis, the director of the documentary, Nikos Ntayiantas, and the General Director of the National Foundation “Eleftherios K. Venizelos”, Nikolaos Papadakis-Papadis. The screening was also attended by the Ambassador of Serbia to Greece, Dušan Spasojević. The event was organized by the Municipality of Anogeia and the National Foundation “Eleftherios K. Venizelos”.
