Honorary event for Irineos. Name conversion of the Admnistrative and Scientific Services Building to “Metropolitan Irineos Galanakis” Mansion.

The Foundation organised a honorary event for Metropolitan Irineos Galanakis in order to acknowledge his great contribution to the Foundation.
Metropolitan Irineos has been honored numerous times for his ecclesiastical and social work. It would be an unpardonable omission of the Foundation not to organise a special honorary event in order to emphasise on his special contribution to the creation and the work of the Foundation.
The event, held in the Foundation's premises in Halepa, on Thursday, August 23rd, on Metropolitan Irineos' nameday, started with introductory speeches by the CEO of the Foundation, the former Prime Minister K. Mitsotakis, the Foundation's Vice Chairmen, as well as all the MPs of Hania since the year 2000, due to the special relation of the Foundation with the Greek Parliament. The honored person was acclaimed Grand Benefactor of the Foundation, and the name conversion of the building of Administrative and Scientific Services of the Foundation to Metropolitan Irineos Galanakis Mansion was realised.
