Commemorative events for Eleftherios Venizelos and Nikolaos Plastiras.

A commemorative event for Eleftherios Venizelos and Nikolaos Plastiras was held on Friday, February 24th, 2006, at 18:30, at the Municipal Theatre of Karditsa, organised by the Metropolis of Thessaliotis & Fanariofersala, the Prefecture of Karditsa, the Municipality of Karditsa, the Municipality of Nikolaos Plastiras and the Cretan Association of Karditsa, under the auspices of the Foundation.
The speakers were Nikolaos Papadakis, Foundation CEO, on the topic "Eleftherios Venizelos. Top political choices" and Giannis Stefanidis, Professor at the University of Thessaloniki on the topic "The relationship of Eleftherios Venizelos with Nikolaos Plastiras".
The event comprised sound documentaries, a photograph exhibition for Venizelos and the projection of V. Maros' film "Eleftherios Venizelos' Greece".
The event closed with dances by the Cretan Association of Karditsa and the Municipality of Plastiras
